Le cours des études environnementales s'intéresse à l'espace urbain et son utilisation. Depuis 2010 plusieurs projets ont été accomplis comme par exemples le jardin mémorial de Laura Szendrei et les deux bassins de rétention (Rain Gardens) sous le pont Alex Fraser et finalement le bassin de rétention devant Burnsview. Un des projets que nous avons travaillé depuis 2013 est la transformation de la petite forêt dans le parc de Chalmers juste derrière l'école. Peu utilisé, mal entretenu, les étudiants ont décidé de demander à la ville de Delta, Deborah Jones de Cougar Creek Streamkeepers, Nature Trust of B.C. et Rotary North Delta de se regrouper pour un meilleur aménagement qui se fera en plusieurs années. La phase 1 de cette année comprends un bassin de rétention et une murale peinte par les étudiants qui sera terminée en 2017.

The course of Environmental Studies focuses on urban space and its use. Since 2010 several projects were completed, for example: Laura Szendrei memorial garden and two retention basins (Rain Gardens) under the Alex Fraser Bridge and finally the retention pond in front of Burnsview. One of the projects we have worked since 2013 is the transformation of the small forest in Chalmers park just behind the school. This space was little used and poorly maintained, thus students have decided to ask the City of Delta, Deborah Jones of Cougar Creek Streamkeepers, Nature Trust of BC and Rotary North Delta to work together to create a better park which will take several years. Phase I (2016) is the building of a wet garden or retention pond and a mural painted by students which will be completed in 2017. Phase II (2016/17) will involve new paths in the forest and a better resurfacing of them
